Born and raised in the Yakima Valley, I’ve always felt a deep connection to what I know as “home”. After 15 years in the Seattle area exploring opportunities, earning my degree, and building my career - I found myself drawn back to this community. A place where the sunshine 300 days a year, where we want to raise our kids and work to create something meaningful.
My career has provided me more than a decade of design and project management experience working on custom Starbucks stores including casinos, universities, healthcare, and hotels. Projects have included Pearl Harbor, Warner Bros, and the NFL hall of fame. I now oversee our national travel center portfolio and manage projects with teams of architects in Costa Rica, Seattle, and Ohio.
As a designer, I am driven by the belief that we can build spaces that are not only beautiful and functional, but are regenerative, that connect people to each other, that support local economies, and leave a lighter footprint on the land. The goal of a designer should be to bring the clients vision to life, not the other way around. Design is powerful in that is shapes the environment around you where you live and work.
Outside of work I find joy in weekends watching my kids play sports, Christmas movies, Sunday football, a good game of cribbage with friends, dark chocolate, blue skies, dogs, and the occasional round of golf - so long as the temperature is just right.
